This architectural design course deals with design development and detailing of a design problem introduced at the beginning of the semester. The class will focus on an interior renovation of an existing building. ARCH 3511 addresses the next level of design after schematic design: design development.
your RCP's gives the false impression that your lights only gives out that amount of light. You don't necessarily need to show the radius of how much light your lightbulbs are giving out on any RCP. Great front and rear elevations. Showing all elevations would better help others understand your design as a whole.
Always try to put scale figures in your section. It gives the reader a sense of height of your spaces. Your room names are missing on you r floor plans. Your back yard plan is really nice.
The floor plans are great and easy to read. I agree with Marlon on adding scale figures to your sections. Also, maybe adding some color to your floor plans or just adding color to what you really want the viewer to focus would have been great. Backyard is really thought out and the space was well organized and designed.
All your floor plans are really easy to read and well drawn. Good design and elevation renderings. Your bathroom plan/elevations and kitchen plan/elevations should be bigger than the images and color could be added to the bathroom elevations to see exactly how it would look.
Although the presentation looks very clean try to use more label to explain what are we looking at, and also if you add color to your section it would make look more realistic.I really like your elevation and floor plan I think ther are very well design
The order of your plans are incorrect. Lowest on bottom - top on top. The rendered images are much stronger - but should be toned down. The images on your rendered drawings (plans and site + RCP) are too big. They take away from your project. Your sections should have some color on them and the earth should be poched. Remember people and materials on your elevations.
i think that the text on your baords seems to be bit too light. mayeb some more color on the floor plans wouldnt affect it either. very well orgnized great eleevations
give color to the furniture to maintain a consistency through out the layout.

ReplyDeleteMost of the boards are very light, so try adding a darker background to highlight the images.

ReplyDeleteIt would've been cool if you colored in the rest
ReplyDeleteLike the project, but you should add some furniture to the sections so its easy to see which room is which.
