This architectural design course deals with design development and detailing of a design problem introduced at the beginning of the semester. The class will focus on an interior renovation of an existing building. ARCH 3511 addresses the next level of design after schematic design: design development.
I really think that this is a great project,very creative approach, although it is not a big deal i would say that the second shift color is a little to strong and it does not follow you presentation keep it simple.
Your project is so strong in section. It makes sense that this drawing is exciting - but would read better if the earth was poched/hatched. The organization of your house really works for your family. The design gives both adults a really nice work space from home that has connection to the outside and provides the potter with direct access for his clients. The family has their private space that is separated from the street. The bathroom and kitchen and floor plans would read better if the images were smaller so they were not competing with your drawings/design.
i thinnk that the flow of spaces works pretty well. i also like the fact that you were not afraid to incorpporate different element. its very agressive the fact that theres a lot of materials being used, i liek that! some of thesection on the boards look a little bit dark though, but everything else is greta, the desing, the rpesentation and the organiztion of everything
use of shadows in section, need to be a little less dark.

ReplyDeleteReally good project. Like the design, board setup and renderings. Only thing is that the back, right, and left elevations are a little dark.
